As part of the first phase of the initiative, the team reached Mutiti Primary School, Kakuka Hill Secondary School, and Parental Care Junior School, where sanitary pads were provided to school girls.
Menstruation should never be a reason for a girl to miss school. Yet, for many girls from vulnerable households, the inability to afford menstrual hygiene products can affect their attendance, confidence, participation, and overall educational experience.
Through the Pad a School Child Initiative, the Influence Team seeks to contribute to keeping girls in school, reducing the stigma surrounding menstruation, and creating an environment where every girl can learn and pursue her dreams with confidence and dignity.
"This is more than a donation-it is an investment in education, diginity, and the future of our communities."
The Influence Team appreciates all individuals, partners, schools, and well-wishers who have supported this initiative. However, this is only the beginning. There are many more girls and schools that need support.
Together, we can ensure that no girl misses school simply because she cannot afford a sanitary pad.
Every pad matters. Every girl matters. Every future matters.
