The Influence Space Engages Community Leaders in Sindila to Address School Dropouts
The Influence Team held a consultative meeting with the local leaders in Sindila Sub-County to discuss the growing challenge of school dropouts and explore sustainable solutions to keep children in school. The meeting held at Busigha Model Primary School, brought together community leaders to identify key factors contributing to children leaving school, including poverty, early pregnancies, lack of guidance, and limited access to opportunities.
Discussions focused on practical solutions such as:
1. Supporting vulnerable learners to remain in school.
2. Providing skills training opportunities for school dropouts and single mothers.
3. Strengthening community mentorship and guidance for young people.
4. Promoting discipline and moral values within the community.
The engagement reflects The Influence Space's commitment to empowering communities, promoting accountability, and creating practical pathways for youth and families to build better futures.
